TO ACHIEVE THAT WE HAVE TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM, NOT THE YEAR.
Dear Fellows:
Despite what history has been saying for so long now, empires always think they are forever. Therefore, when they sense that other nations may be threatening their hegemony, supremacy, or leadership positions, they have no trouble undermining, sabotaging, boycotting, terrorizing, launching hybrid or even military wars against daring contenders.
This explains why the U.S. media (which primes by circulating – under the misnomer of news – press releases from U.S. corporations or government agencies) has been airing/printing for a few years now an avalanche of terrifying, horrible news on China which has had the audacity of getting so many millions of its citizens out of poverty while growing by leaps and bounds at the very same time that the only standing empire dwindles steadily with so many of its families sliding further below the poverty line.
Even public radios or TV stations that once used to be quite more guarded about their degree of fairness or impartiality have lately been crossing those lines by constantly airing so much rubbish about China, Russia, Iran, and other nations on the left side aisle. Not surprisingly, the U.S. Congress in a bipartisan spirit, generously awarded this month a few billion dollars more than however much Biden had asked for his so-called National Defense Authorization Act, another misnomer, by the way.
Typically, empires act with vengeance against perceived associates, friends, or allies of their contenders. Therefore, moving forward, nations exhibiting administrations inclining leftward better be prepared for sanctions, provocations, boycotts, sabotages of all kinds, not to speak of possible groundless aggressions. Well, let us hope that this brewing cold war does get much hotter in 2022.
Otherwise, the whole world will be in deeper trouble and the year 2022 will not be a happy one for any of our fellow human beings struggling on the suffering side of this economy to be around.
